Alora

Relocation & Concierge

Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas

Welcome home

Dallas, Texas

You focus on your new beginning.

We handle the rest.

What we do

Housing, schools and the essentials, all taken care of

Arriving in a new country means dozens of decisions landing at once. Alora organises every one of them before, during and after you reach North Texas.

Housing

The right home, in the right neighbourhood, waiting for you.

We research neighbourhoods, nearby schools and your commute before suggesting a single property. We attend viewings, explain American lease agreements and help with deposits, proof of income and everything else that usually stalls newcomers without US credit history.

Schools & universities

The right education for your family.

We explain how Texas school districts work, the difference between public, charter and private schools, and why your home address decides where your children study. We handle enrolment, required records and mandatory immunisations.

Documentation

We guide you through every step.

Social Security, Texas driver's licence, vehicle registration, insurance and all the registrations nobody explains before you arrive. We sequence them correctly, because in the US each one depends on the last.

Airport pick-up

We welcome you to Texas.

A familiar face waiting at arrivals, transport to your new home and the first essential groceries already sorted. Day one of a move should not be spent inside a rideshare app.

Settling-in support

Utilities, bank, internet and more.

Opening a bank account, switching on electricity, water, internet and mobile, choosing a health plan and sourcing basic furniture. We absorb the admin while your family adjusts to the time zone, the heat and the language.

Local connections

Recommendations you can trust.

A paediatrician who speaks your language, the shop that stocks food from home, a church, a hairdresser, a mechanic, youth soccer. The network that normally takes two years to build, handed to you in week one.

How it works

Support that starts long before your flight

No figuring it all out alone once the plane lands. We prepare the ground in advance so your first week in Texas is about a fresh start, not paperwork.

Before you fly

  1. 01

    First conversation

We get to know your family, your expected arrival date, your budget and what is non-negotiable for you. No obligation, in English or Portuguese.

  2. 02

    Personalised plan

You receive a plan with recommended areas, realistic rental price ranges, school options and a week-by-week timeline of what needs to happen when.

  3. 03

    Housing & school

We shortlist properties, run video viewings, negotiate the lease and secure a school place before you ever board the plane.

After you land

  1. 04

    Arrival

We meet you at the airport, take you to your new home and make sure the essentials are handled for your very first night.

  2. 05

    Settling in

Over the first weeks we sort the bank, Social Security, driver's licence, household accounts and health cover, coming with you in person wherever it helps.

  3. 06

    Local life

We introduce your new network: doctors, shops, community and activities for the children. This is when a relocation stops being a relocation and becomes your life.

People who started over with Alora

Alessandra made our arrival in Texas so much calmer. We could not have done it without Alora.

Even before we moved to the United States, Alessandra was already helping us with every detail of the move. […] Alessandra Mauser is certainly the right person to guide, welcome and help with honesty, dedication and transparency through this delicate transition of migrating and starting over.

The Martins family

Alessandra, I would like to thank ALORA, and you personally, from the bottom of my heart for all the care and attention you gave my son. From the airport pick-up to settling him into his dorm, you were there, bringing calm and reassurance at such an important moment for us. Thank you so much for all your warmth and care!
